Kisses From Katie is an amazing book in every way. It is a super inspiring story about following Jesus and using God to influence other people’s lives. In this book Katie graduates from high school and decides she wants to go to Uganda for a year to help in an orphanage. From there she goes on to become a teacher, and falls in love with Uganda. Even against her parents wishes for her to go to college and get a degree, she still stays in Uganda. She adopts 14 Ugandan girls and starts up her own Nonprofit organization. I highly recommend this book for ages 12 and up. It is a must read!

The Crescent Stone just recently came out. This book is action packed, and you won’t want to put it down until you are done with it. In this book, the main character Madeline Oliver has a deadly lung disease, and only has one month to live. Jason, one of Madeline’s classmates has a tragic past that nobody else knows about. When a magical stranger named Hanali appears and offers a bargain that could change everything, they take his bargain. But magic costs more than anyone could have imagined.

I highly recommend this book for people that are in middle school or older. It can be very intense at times, and is a higher reading level. If you are a fantasy fan like I am, then this is a must read.
